Growing up, we are taught the idea of monogamy, but have you ever thought what is on the other side? I.E. Being in an open relationship, or polygamy? Today, we explore both ends, talking about trust, loyalty and desire in each scenario.
A study surveyed 1,500 people in monogamous relationships and 600 people in consensual non-monogamous relationships, and found that people in consensual non-monogamous relationships, including those who engaged in polyamory and swinging, scored lower on jealousy and higher on trust than those in monogamous relationships.
